Energy Vault Completes Land Acquisition for Stoney Creek BESS

Energy Vault has completed acquisition of the land underlying its 125 MW/1 GWh Stoney Creek BESS in Northern New South Wales, moving the project closer to construction. Full ownership strengthens control over development, construction and long-term operation, supplementing a 14-year AEMO Services long-term energy service agreement. The battery is designed for eight hours of dispatchable storage and is planned for commercial operation in 1H 2028, pending approvals.
