Energy Transfer has signed multiple deals to supply natural gas for rising AI data center power demand, including about 900,000 Mcf/d to three U.S. data centers. The company is also in advanced talks with power plants and other customers for more gas volumes, supported by pipeline projects including the $2.7 billion Hugh Brinson and up to $5.6 billion Desert Southwest in Texas and Arizona.
