Energy Fuels Completes ASM Deal, Adding Korean Metals Plant
Energy Fuels completed its acquisition of Australian Strategic Materials to build a Western mine-to-magnet rare earth supply chain. ASM’s Ochang, South Korea Korean Metals Plant adds capacity to produce 1,300 tons annually of NdFeB alloy, plus NdPr for dysprosium and terbium. The company also plans to acquire permanent magnet maker Vacuumschmelze, targeting a 2027 close.
