Enel Completes Acquisition of 810 MW US Solar Portfolio
Enel completed the purchase from Excelsior Energy Capital of a US solar portfolio totaling 810 MW, expected to generate about 1.6 TWh annually. The deal consideration is about $760m, financed through current operations cash flows after US-law authorizations were obtained. Enel also expects to add 205 MW of wind by Q4 2026, reaching over 13 GW of renewable installed capacity in North America and adding about $90m/year to consolidated EBITDA.
