Emami Agrotech, Emami Group’s branded foods business, has entered the packaged snacks market with its WeMe brand and plans to invest ₹750 crore over the next three to five years. The company aims for ₹1,000 crore revenue over five to seven years, with around ₹400 crore earmarked for a greenfield manufacturing facility in West Bengal, expected to take about 24 months to build.
