Element Zero, a Pilbara green-iron rival that previously faced an intellectual-property challenge from Fortescue, has secured a $26 million Arena grant to scale its Perth demonstration module. The project uses renewable power to make 10kg/day of high-purity iron continuously and targets 1 tonne/day, then 10 tonnes/day subject to conditions, aiming to keep value-adding in Australia.
