El Al canceled a planned Tel Aviv–Hanoi, Vietnam route after it could not obtain required security approval from Israel’s Shin Bet. The airline said it sought permits to operate the flights with Israeli crew and aircraft but was informed it was not possible. El Al apologized and offered refunds, reimbursements, or replacement connections via other airlines. The route had been set to start in October.
