EcoPro BM to Supply High-Nickel Cathode Materials for Mercedes EVs

EcoPro BM will produce NCM cathode materials with more than 90% nickel at its Hungary plant for use in Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles, with delivery routed via Samsung SDI. Supply to Mercedes starts in Q4 2027, backed by 54,000 metric tons annual capacity for about 600,000 EVs. EcoPro BM plans a 150 billion won investment, including conversion of a cathode line to make both NCA and NCM.
