Duke Energy says storms leave more than 180,000 customers without power
Duke Energy issued a statement after severe storms left more than 180,000 customers without electricity, including about 160,000 in southwest Ohio and 26,000 in Northern Kentucky late Tuesday. Fallen trees, broken poles and damaged equipment slowed restoration, with crews working around the clock and rerouting power where possible. As of Wednesday evening, 2,131 active outages affected 76,593 people in Ohio and Kentucky.
