Duke Energy Files 2026 Carolinas Resource Plan Under South Carolina Act 41
Duke Energy’s 2026 Carolinas Resource Plan, submitted Aug. 14 to the South Carolina Public Service Commission, aims to balance reliability with diverse resources and costs as the state’s population grows. It advances new generation, energy storage and renewables, evaluates future nuclear options, maximizes energy efficiency, and builds on approved Carolinas–Progress combination efforts delivering more than $5 billion in customer and community cost savings.
