Dr Reddy's terminates Novartis India distribution agreement after ownership change

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories terminated its Feb. 11, 2022 agreement with Novartis India covering exclusive, non-transferable rights to promote, distribute and sell specified brands. The move follows a change in Novartis India’s controlling shareholding. Dr Reddy’s will keep commercialising the covered brands until Sept. 30, 2026, with no financial impact disclosed. Separately, it launched a generic Sugammadex injection in the US.
