Dow Considers Exiting $20B Saudi Aramco Chemicals Partnership
Dow is considering leaving its $20 billion chemicals partnership with Saudi Aramco, with no final decision yet. The review comes as conflict-linked disruptions to oil and petrochemical flows have raised transportation and operating costs and the industry faces stagnant demand and global oversupply. Dow has been reviewing operations, including European assets, and Aramco could seek Dow’s 35% stake in Sadara Chemical in Jubail.
