The U.S. Department of Transportation approved UPS to transfer six Hong Kong flying rights so it can inaugurate cargo service to Clark Airport in the Philippines, where a hub expansion is expected to be completed later this year. UPS said it continually evaluates its global air network to meet customer demand, amid shifts such as FedEx starting Guangzhou-to-Sydney 777 cargo service.
