Dollar General Rallies After Raising Full-Year Outlook; Dollar Tree Drops 3%
Dollar General shares rose about 5% after the company reported Q2 fiscal 2026 net sales of $11.3 billion, up 5.2% year over year, and raised full-year guidance to EPS of $7.80–$8. Comparable sales are expected to grow 2.5%–2.9%, with net sales growth of 4%–4.3%. The company also plans up to $700 million in buybacks and declared a $0.59 quarterly dividend, while Dollar Tree fell about 3%.
