Dollar General is continuing construction of a new store in Marine on the village’s western edge along Route 143 near a senior living center and west of Marine Elementary School. The project is expected to take about four months, with an opening targeted for as early as October and possibly extending to November. Bob Cissell owns the property and the Cissell Mueller Company, based in St. Peters, Missouri, is building it.
