Unite and GMB Scotland members have voted for industrial action at Diageo’s Cameronbridge distillery in Levenmouth, Fife, with 75% of GMB Scotland voters backing the move and 73% turnout. More than 100 members are expected to strike. Diageo’s US$1 billion restructuring follows a 2,000 staff reduction, with up to 38 distillery jobs at risk amid claims of limited consultation.
