Diageo to Reformulate Whisky and Rum Brands in India After Flavoring Ban

Diageo has agreed with India’s food safety regulator to reformulate some of its top-selling whisky and rum brands after bans over alleged added flavoring violations. The company will stop adding whisky flavoring to whisky and rum flavoring to rum, and changes will cover affected brands produced anywhere in India. The regulator is expected to lift bans following the agreement.
