DHL Express completed a $204 million expansion of its super gateway at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in Guangdong, tripling shipping capacity to 992 tons per day. The upgrade enables more direct cargo flights and is expected to raise annual throughput above 286,000 tons. The automated terminal uses high-speed sorting, robotic arms and monitoring systems to support time-definite logistics for sectors like semiconductors, life sciences and electric batteries.
