Deutsche Telekom names AWS Jan Hofmeyr as next CTO

Deutsche Telekom announced a management refresh, naming Jan Hofmeyr, currently at AWS, as its new technology chief and successor to Abdu Mudesir, who left at the end of March for a top tech role at Verizon. The carrier also confirmed Mladen Mitic as chief product & digital officer and said CFO Dr. Christian Illek will depart after the 2027 AGM for age-related reasons.
