Demon Hunter Sues Netflix Over KPop Demon Hunters Trademark Claims
Christian metal band Demon Hunter, via Hyde Lane, sued Netflix and related entities over animated hit KPop Demon Hunters, alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition as the franchise evolves into a music, merchandise and live-events brand that overlaps with Demon Hunter. The complaint cites consumer confusion, including a refund request after nearly $500 in mistaken concert tickets in Albany, and Netflix is partnering with AEG for a 2027 world tour.
