David Ellison Floats Hollywood Exit as California AG Presses Warner Deal Antitrust Case
A judge in the antitrust case has set a March trial start date for the Paramount–Warner Bros. deal. Until the transaction closes, Paramount will owe Warner shareholders $650 million each quarter starting in October. David Ellison’s talk of moving away from Hollywood drew criticism from California attorney general Rob Bonta, who called it blackmail aimed at regulators enforcing antitrust law.
