Danone Takeover of Huel for €1bn Cleared by UK Watchdog
Danone’s planned €1bn purchase of UK meal supplement brand Huel received clearance from the Competition and Markets Authority. The CMA approved the €1bn (£864m) deal after a review. Huel, founded in Hertfordshire in 2015, offers plant-based nutritionally complete foods. Danone said the approval is a key milestone for expanding its UK nutrition portfolio.
