Daikin Invests in Tijuana Plant for Data Center Cooling Systems
Daikin is expanding manufacturing in Mexico with a new plant in Tijuana dedicated to data center cooling systems, aiming to capture rising demand from hyperscale cloud operators building AI infrastructure. The company will invest about 10 billion yen (around $62.8 million). Daikin expects North American data center cooling revenue to climb from roughly 23 billion yen in fiscal 2023 to about 100 billion yen in fiscal 2025, targeting over 300 billion yen by fiscal 2030.
