Cybercab rollout questions as Tesla seeks more driving data
Questions remain over how quickly Tesla’s Cybercab will reach streets and whether buyers can get one for $30,000. Tesla’s Robotaxi service already offers driverless Model Y rides in Austin and some markets, but rollout has been slower than Musk promised. Musk says Tesla is moving cautiously for safety while it accumulates Cybercab-specific driving data; the cabs are planned to charge wirelessly and are testing nationwide.
