A US District Court in California ruled that Walmart could not dismiss Estee Lauder’s February lawsuit. The complaint said Estee Lauder tested 17 products bought from Walmart.com and found them inauthentic. The court said those allegations were enough to move beyond the pleading stage, and that Walmart failed to escape claims that it sold counterfeits of several Estee Lauder brands online.
