Costco to spend $16M on road work and impact fees for Tumwater warehouse
Costco Wholesale is expected to spend about $16 million on road improvements and traffic impact fees under a proposed development agreement for a new warehouse in Tumwater. The move would take place to a 55-acre site on Tumwater Boulevard west of I-5, with $11 million for road extensions and three roundabouts, plus nearly $2 million in impact fees and nearly $3 million in mitigation fees. The contract also includes utility upgrades, tree protection easements, and SEPA conditions slated for council presentation by Oct. 15.
