Costco has submitted a notice of application to build a new store in Tumwater as existing locations no longer meet needs. The proposal includes a 166,157-square-foot retail warehouse with more than 1,000 parking spaces and associated site utilities and stormwater work. City records show applications for a master plan amendment, rezoning, and preliminary plat, with construction expected to start this month.
