Corning Targets $20B Annualized Sales Run Rate as Verizon Fiber Deal Boosts Growth
Corning said it has secured a major fiber deal with Verizon as demand for AI infrastructure drives growth in optical communications and related applications. CFO Ed Schlesinger expects an annualized $20B sales run rate in the third quarter, earlier than planned, and higher confidence in the company’s Springboard targets of $30B by 2028 and $40B by 2030, with more visibility from new customer agreements.
