Contact Energy reported NZ$423m net profit for FY ended June 30, 2026, up 62%, with EBITDAF up 31% to NZ$1.01b and operating free cash flow rising 49% to NZ$648m. The Manawa Energy acquisition added ~2.4 TWh of hydro and contracted renewable supply, while Te Huka 3 geothermal ran full-year. Renewable generation reached 98% as thermal output fell 79%, and FY2027 EBITDAF is forecast near NZ$1.05b.
