Constellation Energy Raises Guidance on Calpine Integration and Strong Q2 Results
Constellation Energy reported Q2 adjusted operating earnings of $2.55 per share, or $920 million, a 33% increase from last year. Results were supported by integrating Calpine, which added about $2 per share in adjusted EPS accretion. The company has 55 GW of generation capacity, including the largest nuclear energy fleet in the U.S., and raised guidance as tight power markets strengthen demand.
