ConocoPhillips will bring back corporate attorney Shannon Kinney as its new law department leader as it prepares for a new top executive in September. Chord Energy’s CEO Daniel Brown confirmed Kinney’s planned return on an earnings call. A securities filing says Kinney will step down Aug. 31 from Chord to become ConocoPhillips general counsel.
