Comcast completed its January 2026 spin-off of cable networks and related digital media assets into Versant Media Group, creating a separate Nasdaq-listed company. It also sold its remaining Hulu stake to The Walt Disney Company, ending the streaming joint venture. In 2025, Comcast President Michael J. Cavanagh was named co-CEO with Chairman Brian L. Roberts starting in 2026.
