Colombia Orders Two Embraer KC-390 Millenniums for Military Missions

Colombia became the first Latin American nation outside Brazil to order the Embraer KC-390 Millennium. On August 4, 2026, Embraer announced a contract with the Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana for two aircraft, including mission equipment, an integrated services and support package, and an offset programme to meet regulatory requirements. The KC-390 will support humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, cargo and troop transport, airdrop operations, and air-to-air refuelling, with connectivity to operate alongside Colombia’s Gripen fighters.
