Coinbase is renaming the Base App back to Coinbase Wallet, undoing its just-over-a-year “everything app” experiment. The self-custodial wallet will serve as a test kitchen for assets and products, supporting onchain finance, prediction markets, and tokenized stocks, while keeping users’ keys and detecting or hiding scam and malicious tokens.
