Coinbase Co-Founder Seeks Control of Venezuela Oil Fields Amid US Push
Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam is seeking control of at least three Venezuelan oil fields, according to people familiar with negotiations. The blocks are operated by Alvorada Heavy Industries under contracts US officials are considering revoking. Additional contract changes are expected as Energy Secretary Chris Wright visits Caracas to highlight up to 17 oil and gas agreements.
