Coalition including Bank of America aims to train 1 million trades by 2035
The Lowe’s Foundation, with partners including Bank of America, AT&T and Nvidia, formed the Building Futures Skilled Trades Coalition to train 1 million people for skilled trade careers by 2035. Nearly 80 companies and education organizations joined. Reports warn shortages could leave millions of skilled-trade jobs unfilled and cause up to $1 trillion in annual losses, while the foundation plans to invest $250 million to address it.
