Coal India Limited reported a year-on-year rise in July coal production to 50.36 million tonnes and a 64.19 million tonnes increase in coal supplies, its highest-ever monthly offtake. Supplies grew 18.38% and cumulative FY27 deliveries in April-July reached 262.04 MT. Power-sector offtake rose 18% to 49.77 MT, with inventory optimisation cited for balanced dispatches.
