Coal India expects coal production and dispatch to accelerate as heavy monsoon rains ease in key mining regions, improving mine conditions and overburden removal. It supplied 322.90 MT in April–August, up 6.70% year on year, and 60.60 MT in August. Pithead stocks total ~76 MT, with higher daily dispatch to power aided by plant, rail, and crushing-capacity upgrades.
