CNOOC Takes Delivery of 174,000 Cubic Metre LNG Carrier Greenergy River

CNOOC has taken delivery of the LNG carrier Greenergy River, built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding. The 174,000 cbm vessel will be jointly operated with China Merchants Energy Shipping and NYK. Fitted with GTT membrane tanks and a dual-fuel engine using an ICER system, it aims to reduce methane slip and greenhouse-gas emissions, and was built under relevant classification rules.
