CN Officials Hold Repentigny Town Hall After Residential Derailment
Canadian National Railway officials are set to meet Repentigny residents at a town hall after a derailment earlier this summer in a residential neighbourhood. The TSB reported missing or shifted rail anchors that left tracks unstable, and said 46 derailed cars carried dangerous chemical residue but did not leak. CN says the shift followed high temperatures and blamed misapplied engineering standards used for rail work at a level crossing.
