Australian customers who lost money using Entain’s Fast Code betting service have been automatically included in a class action alleging the product breached Australia’s gambling laws. The claim centers on in-play betting rules under the Interactive Gambling Act, which generally bans online in-play wagering after a game starts, with limited telephone exceptions. Entain disputes the allegation and says its service complied, despite ACMA findings in December 2023 that some operators breached the Act.
