Citigroup reports $647B sustainable finance since 2020 and new 2030 goals
Citigroup says it has committed $647.2 billion to sustainable finance since 2020, including $91.3 billion in 2025, and reached 75% of its 2025 operational sustainability targets. It reports cutting location-based scope 1 and scope 2 emissions by 58% versus its baseline and reducing energy use by 43%. The bank set new 2030 targets for lower energy consumption and operational emissions, alongside end-of-decade net-zero financed emissions goals.
