Cisco Says AI Agents Now Use About 60% of Global Inference Capacity
Cisco said AI agents already account for about 60% of global inference, with token usage up 14-fold since February. It reported $17.3B in fiscal Q4 revenue (+18%), driven by a 28% rise in networking sales, and hyperscaler AI-infrastructure orders of $4B for the quarter and $9.3B for the year. Cisco estimates AI agents need about 450% more bandwidth than people.
