As agentic AI increases infrastructure demands, Cisco says workloads are shifting from data centers to the edge for more efficient processing near where data lives. Cisco’s Unified Edge, debuted in November 2025, is a modular converged compute-network-storage platform for real-time AI inferencing, with Intersight providing centralized visibility and full-stack lifecycle management from data center to edge.
