MyAgent is a Cisco-built internal “super Agent” rather than an externally supplied or independently trained large model. It was developed jointly by Cisco’s operating system, Cisco IT, and the Automation and AI Center, reusing Circuit, Cisco’s internal AI platform. Cisco began work on a secure employee generative AI assistant in April 2023 to limit direct input of customer and personal data into public AI services, later upgrading it to Circuit.
