Chipotle said its School Spirit BOGO campaign generated its largest gross sales day ever, along with the highest BOGO redemption rate on record. The promotion ran Aug. 20 and outperformed a prior Matchday Soccer BOGO, driving about 60% higher traffic, according to Placer.ai. The chain also reported comparable sales growth of 2.2% and revenue up 9.3% to $3.3 billion in Q2.
