Chevron Signs 20-Year Power Purchase Deal for Microsoft AI Data Center in Texas
Chevron entered a 20-year take-or-pay power purchase agreement with Microsoft to supply electricity for a Microsoft-operated AI data center in Texas under Project Kilby. Through Energy Forge One, Chevron will co-develop and provide fuel, with most power generated from GE Vernova gas turbines. The long-term contract adds stable revenue and helps route excess gas as hyperscalers seek reliable baseload power.
