Chevron Confirms Major Condensate Discovery at 105-4X Offshore Angola Well
Chevron, via Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Limited, confirmed an oil and gas condensate discovery at the 105-4X well in Angola’s offshore Block 0. The well found a condensate column over 600 metres in the Lower Congo Basin Pinda reservoir, potentially leveraging existing facilities. Partners include Sonangol E&P (41%), TotalEnergies (10%) and Azule Energy (9.8%), with further drilling planned across Angola and Namibia.
