Chemours launched Opteon™ ZE (R-1234ze(E)) and Opteon™ 515B (R-515B) for stationary chiller applications used in AI-driven data centers and commercial HVAC. The low-GWP refrigerants are marketed to support decarbonization, with Opteon™ ZE at ~1 GWP (AR5) and zero ODP, and Opteon™ 515B at ~293 GWP (AR4) with an ASHRAE A1 classification.
