CG Power Starts Production of First Transformers at Sehore Plant

CG Power and Industrial Solutions rolled out the first power transformer from its new 50-acre greenfield facility in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. The company said it is India’s largest single-location transformer manufacturing site, with capacity for 35 transformers per month across 220 kV to 1,200 kV classes. The Madhya Pradesh chief minister said the plant will create over 2,000 direct and indirect jobs.
